This is a well-respected bloodline in the Boykin World known for breeding working Boykins with nice on and off switch.  This bloodline has been trained by both amateur and pros.  Noted for its biddable nature in the field.  Pups trained by amateurs have won National retrieving competitions, received Finished Titles and enjoyed various types of hunts in the field with their owners.

When selecting your Boykin Pup for hunting it is important to ensure that the breeder is knowledgeable in health testing and the proven workability of the bloodline.

 Exceling in Waterfowl and Upland hunting. Violet's mother won a JAM award in Novice at Boykin Nationals and holds her HRCH Finished Retriever Title. Her brother Boomer is a 2X National Champ for both Novice and Intermediate at Boykin Nationals. She has a shorter curly coat with the standard top knot and an excellent example of Boykin Standard while leaning toward the taller end of the scale. She excels at flushing, marking a fallen bird, is very watery, has exceptional drive and is a naturally birdie dog.  She has a wonderful on and off switch for family time.  Spending time on the couch with dad cuddling is her favorite pastime.
